Everlife
by Gena Showalter
This is the third book in the Everlife trilogy. And this is one of those series where you do need to read them in order, so if you haven't read the first two books, you will need to go and get those. Tenley Lockwood is in a battle, two realms are fighting, the Troika and the Myriad. She has declared alliance to Trokia. The boy she loves has declared alliance to Myriad. The end of the last book they bonded, which means they both basically have access to both sides and have a connection between them. They are able to share memories, communicate, and when one is hurt, the other feels it and is also hurt. Tenley needed that bond in order to break into the other side's afterlife as she wants to free people. She wants to stop the fighting and to somehow get both sides to live in peace.
I really enjoyed the first book in this series. I like a good imaginative story that brings me into a whole different world. I wasn't as into the second book in the series, I'm not sure if it was the book itself or if so much time had passed between book one and two when I read them that it took me a while to get back into the series. Either way, I enjoyed book three and read the book pretty quick.
